“The people of the land have practiced oppression and committed robbery, and they have wronged the poor and needy and have oppressed the foreigner, denying them justice.
I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it, but I found no one.
So I will pour out my wrath on them and consume them with my fiery anger, bringing down on their own heads all they have done,” declares the Sovereign Lord. Ezekiel 22: 29-31
Sometimes, the man God is looking for is a woman. In the case of the Boston Marathon bombing, that voice crying in the wilderness is mine.
Yesterday, I heard the Charlotte, NC chief of police say the stupidest thing. In an interview when he was asked to explain why he will not allow release of the video showing what took place before an unarmed man was shot and killed by police, he said this:
We have always had a policy to control and limit release of video in domestic violence and sexual battery cases. If we release this video it will erode the trust of those who are victims of those crimes.
The above is not word-for-word, but it is still an accurate summary of what this man said.
I hope you are thinking what I thought when I heard it live on TV… what has that got to do with this case?
The answer is – nothing. But this is the kind of statement you get from authorities when they are up against it and they’ve got nothing to justify their actions.
Why do I mention this tonight?
I’ve heard rumblings that the FBI has begun reaching out to certain Dzhokhar supporters with threats to shut up and lie low. They have not contacted me and I doubt they will. I doubt the FBI sees me as someone to worry about. I doubt they see me as anything more than a whack job and that is fine with me. In fact, I prefer it.
In these “rumblings” I have heard the FBI is using rhetoric something along these lines: This alleged bomber in New York was inspired by Dzhokhar. The most recent bombings are connected to the Boston Marathon bombing … yada, yada, yada…
This, in my opinion, is as stupid as the statement made by the Charlotte, NC police chief.
So why would the FBI suddenly be expending time and resources attempting to muzzle obscure Dzhokhar supporters whose actions are, never have been and never will be a threat to national security in any way, shape or form?
I’ll tell you why: because it’s appeal time ladies and gents. The government’s hands are dirty as sin in the Boston Marathon bombing case and they are desperate to keep as many sound-asleep Americans as possible convinced that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is a dangerous terrorist who does not deserve a new trial. They are desperate to stay out of prison themselves. And they are fighting a losing battle, I am happy to say.
Anyone who reads this blog knows that God speaks to me. He quickens His word, the Bible. That is why it is important to understand that the Bible is not just another holy book. It is the living and active word of Almighty God.
Matthew 24:35 says “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.”
Isaiah 55:10-11 says “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
Hebrews 4:12 says For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
So, having said that, here is the word I received from the Lord today. At the time I received it, I knew He was referring to the United States and by the United States I mean those in positions of power in government, not ordinary citizens like us. Let him who has ears to hear – hear what the Spirit is saying:
How long, O Lord, will I call for help, and You will not hear? I cry out to You, “violence!” yet You do not save. Why do You make me see iniquity, and cause me to look on wickedness? Yes, destruction and violence are before me; strife exists and contention arises. Therefore the law is ignored and justice is never upheld. For the wicked surround the righteous; therefore justice comes out perverted.
“Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your days – you would not believe if you were told. For behold I am raising up the Chaldeans, that fierce and impetuous people who march throughout the earth to seize dwelling places which are not theirs. They are dreaded and feared; their justice and authority originate with themselves. Their horses are swifter than leopards and keener than wolves in the evening. Their horsemen come galloping, their horsemen come from afar; they fly like an eagle swooping down to devour. All of them come for violence. Their horde of faces moves forward. They collect captives like sand. They mock at kings and rulers are a laughing matter to them. They laugh at every fortress and heap up rubble to capture it. They will sweep through like the wind and pass on. But they will be held guilty, they whose strength is their god.”
Are you not from everlasting, O Lord, my God, my Holy One? We will not die. You, O Lord, have appointed them to judge; and You, O Rock, have established them to correct. Your eyes are too pure to approve evil, and You can not look on wickedness with favor. Why do You look with favor on those who deal treacherously? Why are You silent when the wicked swallow up those more righteous than they? Why have You made men like the fish of the sea, like creeping things without a ruler over them? The Chaldeans bring all of them up with a hook, drag them away with their net, and gather them together in their fishing net. Therefore they rejoice and are glad. Therefore they offer a sacrifice to their net and burn incense to their fishing net; because through these things their catch is large and their food is plentiful. Will they therefore empty their net and continually slay nations without sparing?
At some points in this chapter I found myself wondering was God talking about the United States or ISIS? It’s hard to tell sometimes; they both act the same. However, when the Lord also gave me the following verses, there was no mistaking He was indeed referring to people in my own country’s government. How I wish it were not so.
Isaiah 10: 1-3 Woe to those who enact evil statutes and to those who constantly record unjust decisions so as to deprive the needy of justice and rob the poor of My people of their rights, so that widows may be their spoil and that they may plunder orphans. Now what will you do in the day of punishment and in the devastation which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your wealth?
Isaiah 30: 12-14 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, “Since you have rejected this word and have put your trust in oppression and guile, and have relied on them, therefore this iniquity will be to you like a breach about to fall, a bulge in a high wall, whose collapse comes suddenly in an instant, whose collapse is like the smashing of a potter’s jar, so ruthlessly shattered that a sherd will not be found among its pieces to take fire from a hearth or to scoop water from a cistern.
It is the height of arrogance and stupidity to tell someone to shut up and stop supporting someone they believe to be innocent because it has been alleged that someone else (who they have no involvement or connection with either) has claimed to have been inspired by that person. And when you consider that the person claiming to have been inspired by Dzhokhar has never met or communicated with Dzhokhar, the insanity factor is off the charts.
That is what the FBI has apparently been reduced to because just like that police chief in Charlotte, NC… they got nothin’ – and they know it.
