A Note About My Most Recent Post Today

Several have been kind enough to share their thoughts after reading “Getting Inside the Mind of a Juror-Part 1.”

The overriding factor in this post is the question of whether or not a juror used information obtained from an outside source or previously learned before trial to assist in their decision-making regarding the death penalty for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Who started the fight, which Steven gave the story of the fight to the Globe (if I am incorrect on that one since the defendant knows several of that same first name) – all these things are irrelevant in considering whether juror misconduct occurred or not.
